Drop Mathers, Phelps and Smith, we said. Play Tomkins, McIlorum and Ainscough, we said. Stop hanging back in defence, we said.
Told you so, Nobby! Well done for listening, even if 4 games late!
Great performance, guys, well done all round!

Still dont count our chickens yet we still have a lot of building to do, 2 weeks ago we were dire and we were lucky Bradford played poorly to build up a good lead.
Sam T will one day be our club captain, I am certain.

True, I'm not getting carried away, but the signs are there that this is very close to what should be our first-choice line-up, and that performance will have given them all the confidence they've been lacking.

Certainly not and this game and Salford are the one we must win given the other opposition. However, I cannot recall any supporter not saying they did not think the squad was not good enough. Indeed, many were irked at the underachievement. However, get the selection right and we have a fighting chance and that is what is happening. To be fair I think the dropping of Smith is the boldest move Noble has ever done at Wigan but definetly obvious and sensible. Let's hope he drops his ridiculous duty of care cliche now. Did Sam Tomkins look like he needed duty of care?
Still work to do but I defy anybody not to have enjoyed tonight.

Said to my mate tonight that Nobby must have read my posts
Thats all I need to see win or lose ''good rugby!!!!''
We had options dummy runners another move from the scrum.
Now next week Nobby I would like to see more movement behind the ruck to allow piggy to use his skill a little more ,you could also start to work on utilising Fekka maybe him popping up out wide or out of a scrum

while your at it why not leave him on a little longer than 20mins I know you tried tonight but 18 seconds is not quite what I meant :eh:
