Re: Crusaders v Wildcats - Postponed...

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Hope everything is ok in both Camps, seems a bit odd to cancel at such short notice and with no announcement as to why?

Anyone heard anything?
injury to academy player... no more details atm. Some mention of a player being airlifted to hospital... just rumours I think.

Sunday's Super League match between Celtic Crusaders and Wakefield was postponed following a serious incident in a reserve game at Maesteg.

The Crusaders were due to kick off against the Wildcats at Brewery Field in Bridgend at 1900 GMT.

But the Rugby Football League (RFL) confirmed in a statement issued at 1825 that the match had been called off "due to unforseen circumstances".

"The RFL will issue a statement later regarding this postponement," it added.

SKY didn't give any more details, whether they don't know or have been asked to keep it quiet...

something is going on

seems a bit strange but hope all is alright with both clubs although Wakefield dont deserve any more bad luck after what they have had to go through in the past few months
