Sad news

As a fan of rugby league this is a tragedy. All thoughts are with the family and the Wakefield club.


Passed away Sunday 22nd March in a reserve team game. Accidental. He has honours with Yorkshire and England at academy level with a previous club, Salford. I am sure more news will come around elsewhere at another time.

just come up on sky sports news that its been confirmed that wakefields leon walker 21 has died :( :(

another very sad for wakefield rugby club and rugby league.

Just been announced on sky sports taht the reason for the match being postponed is due to an acadamy player sadly passing away

Leon Walker a 21 year old Wakefield player has died..hence the game being cancelled..very sad news.
