Every man and his dog mentioned/heralded by Ian Lenagan minus 1, D.Goulding. Even Mathers received plaudits.

Move on Mr Goulding, you are fighting a losing battle at Wigan RLFC IMO.

i thought that aswell, even mentoned phelps, thought he would at least mention him seen as there was wide speculation of him being part of the deal for gleeson.

Made it sound as if us the fans have been asking for gleeson to be signed, and he now expects us to full the stadium.
Is he aware that everybody is just after quality performances.

Good to hear that he is aware of the try roberts scored and has recognised it rarely happens, but its what he and everybody wants to see.

Agreed cp - time to move on.

Feel very sorry for him, remember how pleased he was to get the number 3 shirt when they announced Bailey was moving to 2nd row.

Also I remember how many times Shaun Wane has spoken so highly of Daryl. I think he took him under his wing a bit - and I'm sure he would be sorry to see him go too.

But if he stays now I can't ever see him being more than an a 'nearly was' player. Too good to be playing reserve grade every week. Time to move on

The secret with Mr Lenagan is always what he does not say rather than what he says. The Gleeson contract was agreed a week last Friday. The club expected it to go like clockwork Monday or Tuesday last week. We offered DG and RM + cash. Wire turned it down / players were reluctant to be prt of the deal. Lenagan announces the deal and Goulding is persona non grata (hope I spelt that correctly) How to make a player feel wanted NOT.

Feel sorry for the player but I hope he sees sense and get himself sorted with another club. He deserves better.

IIRC

IL singing the praises of Gleeson as an English / Wiganer RL player. Always on our list. Opportunity through change of coach became available. The fans are deluded in believing that we will not pay big transfer fees (Sorry Mr Lenagan but you told me and 499 other Wiganers that you would not do so at the last forum) He has made 4 offers for players in the last 12 months.

Wiganers have ben asking for this signing. He has done his bit. You all need to pay through the turstiles as a sign of good faith.

He then sang the praises of all the backline players saying Carmont and Gleeson was a great centre partnership. Name his backline. Does he select it. Roberts score a brilliant try last week will be even better now his family has arrived. Apologised for fogetting Phelps so he then mentioned him. Said he felt Mathers would have come good. Great boy!!! No mention of Goulding.

Mentioned Gleeson can play 6 which is important because Sam T has been filling in and we lost Trent. No mention of Tim Smith ;)

Everything is rosey, Wigan RL are wonderful

Who dos the interviewing? He is annoying and often asks the same question twice or three times just rephrased to the same player / coach / fan and repeat thosequestion n his next party political broadcast
