Standish High Y8

Not been mentioned but Standish High have reached the final of the schools comp again. Last year s Y7 they won the competition at Wembley. Y8 they have reached the final again. I think Y8 and above are played at a military base.

Pickering got beat in the Semi Neil. VClose match.

my eldest played for WIgan boys at Wembley when he was in the under 11s and beat Castleford

it is one of the proudest moments in his life and mine and his mothers

as a youngster at that age it is a dream come true

I may be wrong but I think it Outwood (wakefield) v Cas high in the final Neil and Outwood just beat Pickering something like 16-8. Outwood being coched by Damian Ball who is assistant coach at Halifax and a PE teacher at the school.
