Rain stopped now, forecast says it should be a bit brighter around kick-off time but the surface is still going to be very wet.

I don't think the weather effects Wigan too much, they either play well or they don't regardless of rain, snow or sun.

There should be no excuses, it's going to be a slippery surface for both teams not just Wigan.
And just think of all that extra support from the north stand from all them Heinz employees .
As far as i'm aware Heinz is split 50/50 with rugby and football.

By the time the game starts the pitch will be okay , ball a bit wet , but not enough for excuses .

Just got to my seat and the new pitch looks like a carpet!! Also Gleeson isn't playing again because he's just been in the South Stand bar with Shaun Wane, saying he's not recovered from the hamstring injury!!
