I thought the fans were a credit etc

You had to smile though because many of the staff were thinking can we get him off ASAP we are on SKY etc.

They had him on pain relief during the treatment and when taking him off. I think it does the trick because as you say it is a nasty injury. I bet his mum could have inhaled some too. Poor woman.

Gotta say, I was a liitle nervous as time went on. Been involved with Junior Rugby for 10 years and it never gets any easier to see a child getting injured! I'm sure he will be OK and experience tells me his biggest worry will be whether he will be fully recovered in time for when the new season starts next month!!

KW, who are you involved with and what age group ?

Got to hope the lad makes a full recovery and isn't put off playing the game again after picking up such an injury so young.

Thankfully injuries are very rare in kids rugby.

I will say one thing about the games played at Wigan, it is a great experience for the kids as I've coached a few teams there but the people who ref the games do not know the modified rules and are letting the experience be spoiled by allowing in some cases very dangerous play go on
Well said!!!!! :eusa2: :eusa2: :eusa2:
