Based on form across the season the final SL table will be;

1 Leeds 44
2 St Helens 42
3 Huddersfield 38
4 Hull Kr 35
5 Wakefield 32
6 Harelequins 30
7 Wigan 28
8 Catalan Dragons 26
9 Castleford 24
10 warrington 22

Nowhere

Hull
Bradford
Salford
Celtic

Even allowing that CP can sometimes be wrong allow a tolerance of +4 or -4

Ah, but if you base it on recent form, it looks very different.

I cheated a little Geoff. I started with this coming round and picked the team higher in SL to win each fixture. That changed round by round but you are right recent form is important. Wakfield IIRC have a big say as they play plenty of team in what could be termed 4 pointers. Be interesting to see how far or close from reality it finishes up.

How much time do you have on your hands. I bet you've got as many excel spreadsheet modelling different things as I have!

So far this weekend the only result to throw the system haywire is that of Wigan. All over results have gone to the higher placed team in SL.

Another prediction. Hull will have a new coach in 2010. If Noble is not retained by Wigan he could be that coach.
