Sam T is a lefty

Tonight fans got top see the damage he can do if he is allowed to play on the left side. He is simply far far better on the left than the right.
Had a coach had the guts to. At the end of last season he could have been playing Trent on the right, Sam on the left and Tommy/Mickey H at hooker and we may have fared better in our quest to reach the GF.
Sad thing is our other promising young half back Joe Mellor is also a lefty.

Yes but that was pick up a loose ball and run. If you watch all his best plays such as the other two tries tonight they come from a big right inside step. He cannot do that when playing on the right. He gets to play left side when Tommy goes to hooker but tonight is the first match that Noble has kept him there after Pig returns.

Very good tonight..... Nobby was on about polishing his stones or sumert. Hes aready as good if not better than most.
I hate too see a player injured (Long Briers the exception) but Tim smith being out has done us a favour. Another thing Joel has been better last few games, Lockers back in the team helps him he does not need to force things, still put a nice ball out for a break.

If Smith was not injured Sam would not be playing in the first team apart from sub.

From the BBC report:
"We have a gem on our hands. He needs a fair bit of polish but he knows that. He's completely level-headed."
Needs a fair bit of polish? Brian, give it a rest! We are sick of hearing any praise for any young player qualified by things like "he needs polish" or "he's not the finished article".
Just enjoy the fact a product of the clubs youth system has put in match winning performance.
