11.1 seconds for 100 metres on a rugby pitch (with boots on) is fair trapping.mark webster? wrote:Jamal Chisholm, from Leeds, was a late replacement for Scott Donald.

Thats if it is a true 100 metres, as these pitches arent always accurate.
In comparison, Des Drummond was only 0.3 of a second faster on a running track with running shoes in the televised "Superstars", albeit some years ago.
As I understand, that record of 10.8 seconds, still stands as the fastest 100 meters in "Superstars".

I don't think we had anyone in the competition which if true says a lot!cherrywarrior wrote:Anyone know if/how Amos went for us?

Why, what does it say to you Dave. I'm sure if we'd had someone in the race and they'd pulled up lame, the majority of the board would have been jumping up and down asking what were we doing letting a player take part in a meaningless race at such an important stage in the season.DaveO wrote:I don't think we had anyone in the competition which if true says a lot!cherrywarrior wrote:Anyone know if/how Amos went for us?

People should try and be less cynical (not just you, BTW and that's only my opinion).

I am sure that if Wigan had a player fast enough to be thereabouts he would have been racing.Sutty wrote:Why, what does it say to you Dave. As you say Sutty, pointless at this stage of the season though.
At pre-season or after the season IMO, would be a better time.
