If Nobby goes.........

Could Shaun Edwards be tempted to come home? He's a winner if ever there was one, and would make the team play with passion and commitment. There would be no place for lazy prima-donna's to hide with Shaun around.

He's done really well in the other game, and that varied experience could be very useful v/s someone who has only worked in League.

What do you think?

I wish but unlikely IMO. Not now anyway. Maybe a year or two. Not sure how old his son is now and family is everything to Shaun.

Noble is leaving.

you're probably right cp, but with the right approach who knows. What a breath of much needed fresh air he would be!!

Is it definite that Noble's going?

There is another thread on rlfans been started saying he is off by someone with "sources".

Others are also likely to be leaving.

George if you think of who the Noble team are and tend to come and go with him wherever he goes you will not be far out.

Lenegan is under a lot of pressure when it comes to picking a new coach.

He has had the excuse that when he took over there was still a big influence from the 'old regime' in terms of the staff and players.

I am yet to see anything from Lenegan that suggests he is able to attract big name players or coaches to the club in the way that Maurice did and the way Doug Hoyle and the staff at Warrington can.

If Lenagan has ambition then he can not ignore someone like Shaun Edwards who had an outstanding player career in rugby league, an outstanding coaching career in rugby union and just having his name associated with club again will probably do more than any advertising campaign could.
