i st to go must be Karl Pryce , Fielden if he doesn`t improve must be dropped (can`t see him going on he`s contract ) until he regards some form.
Piggy and Feka must lose weight plus Feka needs to get fit .
Can live with everyone else .

Put Amos in this category and I'm pretty much in agreement

im willing to give them all a clean slate and i honestly beleive that if feka or roberts are not in form they will be dropped for the likes of Davies and Ainscough (if they are not 1st team starters by this time anyway). even Fielden may up his game knowing he doesnt have a certain start in the team every game, lets not forget he WAS once the best prop in the world
im willing to start fresh because i believe Michael Maguire has a trophy winning side if his chosen tactics and fitness regime works
bring on 2010

No one who hasn't gone is gong anywhere except perhaps Carmont as he is the only player who has not had his contract renewed (Bailey having a one year deal according to SW).
So for me it's about competition for places next year. No one gone, little prospect of new signings (though there is a glimmer of hope given what IL said on the radio the other night) so if players under perform I expect them to be dropped.
SW mentioned competition for places as well in the radio interview so hopefully a real threat of that will go along way to keeping the senior player on their toes.

Yes, competition for places can be the difference between an average side and a good side

Another factor that cannot be ignored is the last season contract factor, where the likes of Fielden and Feka will have to perform to a far higher standard or not only risk losing their Wigan futures, but also face considerably poorer deals on offer (from any other club) should they perform with such mediocrity as they have done over the last few seasons.
A think big seasons (similar to Coley before his contract renewal) will come from both. So those desperate just to "sack" players for under performing, might just want to wait and see what MM can produce out of the current staff before rushing judgment.

I say let Michael McGuire decide.
That's what he is paid to do.
He should root out the lazy players, and those not capable.
Maybe there is room for improvement for most players under his guidance.
