First half of kiwi's v aus just finished and it has just reinforced for me how good this guy is one bad pass in the half and a magical offload, personally I think he is the best player and the best hooker in the world. Just intersested to hear what others think about him

Different type of hooker than Cunningham but just as influential. Cunningham has shaped the way hookers play in Super League and is a past master at running/picking the ball up from acting half when players are still on the ground. Obviously Smith is alot more mobile than Cunningham and due to that maybe he has a little more to his game. Plus Smith plas the full 80 minutes and doesnt need to be spelled whch frees another place up on the bench. Its a tough one to say who is the better but if i had to make a dicision i would say Cunningham. Both players can change a game with the choices they make from acting half but Cunningham seems to be have the edge on be able to take a game and motivate his players.
