take from Main site:
Wigan Warriors brand new 2010 home and away shirts will be unveiled this Friday.

The cherry & white home shirt will be exclusively revealed in Warriors eNews .whilst photographs of the new away shirt will be first available in Friday’s Wigan Evening Post which is on sale from all good newsagents for just 40p.

Both shirts will also be available to pre-order from the NEW Warriors World Online Store, Warriors World and the Merchandise Hotline on 0845 13-048-13 from 1pm on Friday.
Am guessing we will find out who the sponsor is as well when they release the pictures of the kit.

I don't think they will announce a sponsor because the club will be selling sponsor-less shirts for christmas - if we had a sponsor why the trouble?

I thought they said that if we did not have a sponsor the shirts would go on sale regardless? Liverpool sell shirts with out the sponsor on them. They still charge the same price for the shirt.

from what we know i take it we wont have a sponsor by friday... as the club said they will sell shuirts without a logo on. I dont know anything other than what the club have said.

who knows we may have one but im sure they will announce a sponsor seperately from a shirt as it's more important.

So as last year, the so called "Replica" shirts won't, in fact, be replicas of the shirts the players will be wearing.
Laughable!!

Wigan (and the fans) get the best of both Worlds. In recent years there have been more demand for shirts without sponsors on. So people who don't want sponsors on the shirt can get their shirts and those who prefer the replica shirts with sponsors can get theirs after the sponsor is announced.

Sometimes people don't like the sponsors, I know not everyone was a fan of Mecca Bingo and shirt sales would have probably been right down if JJB Sports was still the sponsor.

When West Bromwich Albion released a sponsors less shirt it sold twice as well as the usual sponsored shirt.

Also the Christmas sales of shirts i would imagine would count for a massive % of shirt sales over a season. I was gutted last season when they held back the shirts until a sponsor was found. Mindfull though how less attractive the sponsor package will be if a lot of shirts go without sponsor on... Maybe they will have an option of adding free of charge the sponsor once its in the bag???? They could get the iron on thing they use for adding the name of players and numbers?

it depends what the contract says Botica if it says it only has to be on the players shirts with a option on the relpicas then that will be fine but if they want there logo on the replicas they will be put on with no option

If Wigan already have a sponsor then it's unlikely Wigan will produce sponsor-less shirts because obviously the sponsor wants the most publicity possible. If no sponsor has been signed yet than Wigan will just sell sponsor-less shirt up until the point they find a sponsor at which point the replica shirt will be switched to the sponsored version.
