Paul King has been released by Hull FC.

See super league site article.
Hull FC have released prop forward Paul King a year before his contract was due to expire.

The 30-year-old was Hull’s longest-serving player, having joined them as a teenager and made his first-team debut in 1998.

“I have loved every minute of my time at Hull FC but I feel I am right to move on,” said King, who was a member of Hull’s 2005 Challenge Cup-winning team under John Kear.

“I have some wonderful memories down the years with Hull FC and I wish everybody at the club good luck for next season.”

Hull chief executive James Rule said: “Paul has had a long career with Hull FC and was rightly rewarded with a testimonial in recognition of that service. We wish him the best of luck in his future career.”
I know we were rumoured to be signing him 3 season ago.
