26th Dec 2009 12.07pm
Officials will inspect the pitch at the GPW Recruitment Stadium ahead of Sunday's Festive Derby with Wigan.
There has been a significant thaw ahead of the clash and the club is confident the game will go ahead.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Sunday 27th December and fans will be able to 'pay on the day'.

I would think it will be on WishFM
It is the surrounding area that is often more important than the pitch which can be quite playable. Preston had their game called on by the referee but called off 30 minutes later by the police / local authority.
You would think Saints would have called for fans to help. Several of us cleared the Avenue where I live after it became like glass following some rain. 50+ Saints fans could surely clear a lot of snow etc.
If it is called off I wonder if they will rearrange it
