Ridiculous

Why do we have to prove the age of a Junior Supporter every year? Surely if the Ticket Office have seen the Passport one year, then they can work out how old the child is!! After all they will only be ONE year older the following year, than they were the year before!!!!

Crazy. I got it wrong then today lol. A young student was asking me about renewing his season ticket and whether he needed to take his proof of age etc down to the ticket office. I presumed not and said given you are an existing season ticket holder with all your details already in the system NO. I guess common sense is not always right.

It might be because there are rules and regulation on what information they are allowed to keep on people and how long they are allowed to keep it.

Don't expect the rules to have any logic to them these sort of things never do.

Its not just Wigan, i work for the NHS i got promoted about 3 months ago, i was working in the same department under the same boss doing relatively the same role (I.T Technician -> IT Technician Team Leader) I only started at the current trust 2 years ago i had to re-submit;

Driving license
Birth Certificate
Utility Bill
Proof of Address

Like in 2 years im going to change where i was born?!!?!

i have only took the kids once and they renew ,every year they have all the details on the comp ,cant understand why they are asking u to do that

Erm it is pointless and Wigan RLFC are a club desparately trying to increase the number of young supporters in order to lower the average age profile of their supporters base. I daresay if this was not Wigan RLFC, happy clapper fans would have a different view.
