Has the bubble burst in Humberside

Two very poor performances from both Humberside teams this weekend.
Personally I thought Rovers would drop a position or three in the table this season as other teams have sussed out their Aussie threat.
Has the Airlie Birds feathers started to cast after only 3 games, I am not so sure on Agar as a SL coach.

Any thoughts.

Hull KRs financial situation was mentioned on here during the close season and it was inevitable that their problems would eventually find their way on to the pitch.

Bigger shock was Crusaders notching their second win I had tipped them not to win a match all season after the way in which the team was thrown together!

Either by choice or through injury, Hull did not play some players. Most notably Long who despite what we may think is vital to anny success Hull will enjoy in 2010.

I wouldn't look too much into FC's display they have a strong squad this year and will be up there. I fear for Hull KR though nothing seems to be going right for them this year. They need to play Quins pretty quickly to get a boost.

Heaven forbid anyone thinking that Crusaders may have been the better team

I will put money on Crusaders finishing in the bottom 3 by the end of the 2010 season.

attendance mid 6,000 I think. FC would have took 1,000 - being the usual first game at a new ground scenario. That puts them in the Salford/Wakefield bracket.

That was their second home game. The sold the place out for their first at 10,200 capacity v Leeds.

My lad's RU team played Wrexham last weekend (won 32-0 ) but afterwards in the club bar I noticed a little lad with his Crusaders program and other stuff. Green shoots? Who knows, I am sceptical myself but I thought that was very encouraging.

I meant for the FC fans to travel to bring around 1,000

Crusaders therefore would have had around 5,700

FC were expected to bring 2-3k, but the weather put a lot of people off travelling. I reckon on a decent day they would have had nearer the 8k mark. Even so, if around 5,500 Crusaders, that's still probabaly more than Hudds, Salford or Quins would have.
