Me and my mate were calling for a play like that when we had Calderwood, so with Amos it seems an even better option

Im sure Hull FC had a play like that a few years back, iirc Raynor scored the try... scrum (raynor or whoever starts running as soon as ball goes in, and is onside... > pass out to kicker > raynor collects and scores in the corner.

was good to see and worth a go in the cup game or when leading comfortably

Huddersfield often kicked straight from scums but not so far out

If we had a scrum anywhere on the pitch maybe even better in their half a little kick to the corner for Famous Amos from O'Loughlin?

they did a beauty last season, Kevin Brown I think. Personally I'd like to see more little chips over the defence from Sam its one thing you see more in Union than League and looks great when it comes off. Shane Williams has done some beauties would love to have him in League.

I am not saying Roberts is as fast as Calderwood here, as, unless they footrace beside each other I dont honestly know.
IMO it will be much closer than you would like to think or even suggest here.
Roberts has put rakes of speed on since the introduction of MM.

I suppose Roberts looks faster because
A) Maguire allows wingers to get the ball and
B) Calderwood seemed so often to run across the pitch rather than along the wing.
I was surprised when we let him go. Good player IMO

Calderwood run down Billy Slater in Aus, Roberts is fast but I suggest Calderwood is far faster and I reckon even Richards is faster over 100

Lockers scored at the JJB in an international (GB v Aus IIRC) chasing down a set piece kick and it was a cracking try. I think they are occasionally worth a punt, if for nothing else than shaking up the oppositions expectations of what you are likely to do.

Did Wire not do something similar with Kevin Penny a couple of seasons ago?
