Sam T is getting better and better. Playing more for the team but still incredibly fleet of foot and dangerous. A very special player in the making IMO.

Agreed, although he did take a few wrong options tonight. It's his defence that always impresses me - time and time again they tried to run their big guys against him, and time and time again he tackled them perfectly.

I've not seen a Wigan youngster with so much natural talent and fierce determination for a long long time. His tackling is superb as well. If he keeps his head down, and doesn't get hurt, he'll be world class.
Second season syndrome isn't in Sam's plans and won't happen.

Sam is the real deal. He will be as good or better than Sean Edwards. We have to build a team around him but we already have that team. A group of yongsters have just come throuhg together and now they have the spark to ignite them. We have the foundation for five to ten years of dominance if we do this right.
I dont care if he makes the odd wrong decision now. Imagine Sam with seven years of experience. He won't be in his prime until then and he's great now.
I'm getting carried away, but we have *so* much potential with the players we have.

You have to admire Sam not just for his talent but his work ethic. His tackling is superb and he frequently takes on some of the bigger guys without any hint of reservation. If he manages to avoid injury I think he will be absolutely awesome in time.

The boy has no fear either defending or trying something in attack. He is a natural with a cherry and white heart!

I think that the appointment of MM came at such an important time, development wise, for the younger players.
Look at the progress most, if not all the talented, but highly inconsistent juniors are showing with real signs of being not only "finished articles" now but also possible full Rep players of the future.

agreed, players like joel tomkins and lee mossop will be on the brink of the england team in this form, joel should walk into the second row with ellis in my opinion with lockers at loose.
The youthfulness is also bringing the best out of the likes of coley and stu aswell, another 2 who look to be in international form!
