Spent an enjoyable few hours on RedVee after Friday's game. On one thread, someone stated quite matter of factly that Wigan are signing Jamie Jones Buchanan for next season. I did ask where this had come from but no reply!
Has anyone else heard this and, more to the point, do we want him??

We don't want him, but I can tell you 100% that he has been viewing a house in Standish.

He's signing for Chorley Panthers.

This rumour appeared at the start of the season as well, a few people thought he would be a good signing to replace the 'terrible' Joel Tomkins....interestingly those people have gone quiet for some reason

This isn't one of those "My dad's friends, postman said ..." stories. It is a fact JJB has viewed a house in Standish.
Does this mean he's signing for Wigan ... I don't know. Maybe he's about to sign for Wire, for example, but prefers to live in this area.
As for were would he play if Wigan signed him ... there seems to be an assumption by some that J Tompkins would have to make way. This would contradict the clubs policy of giving local lads an opportunity and on form JT is worthy of an international spot let alone a club spot. With three front rowers out of contract at the end of the season however wouldn't JJB be a possible front rower(if signed)?

With the cheap shots he throws like the sly unpunished punch at Catalans yesterday, we don't want him.
JJB is going down in my estimation every time I see Leeds play.
