Summer offer from Blackpool Panthers

Post by markill »

Only became aware of this today from the RLFans forums.
In the programme from the wakey home game it says:

SUMMER OFFER FROM BLACKPOOL PANTHERS
Any Wigan season ticket holders making a trip to the Fylde Coast this summer can take in a Blackpool Panthers home game for just £5 per person (adults/concessions).
The Panthers have made the offer to any Warriors Season Ticket holder on production of their card for any home Championship One game in 2010.

i guess this rules out the cup game, but the Wigan players wouldn't be in the team for that anyway due to cup restrictions on dual reg's

the next home game clashes with our home game vs quins but this had to be moved by panthers due to availability of the woodlands ground where they play (home of fylde rugby union).

the home fixtures for the panthers after this are:
Gateshead Sun 16 May 3:00pm
South Wales Sat 3 July 3:00pm
Oldham Sun 25 July 3:00pm
London Skolars Sat 31 July 2:00pm
Hunslet Sun 15 August 3:00pm

so if you want to see some of our best young talent actually playing then come to these games for a fiver!

even if they dual reg players aren't playing the panthers have a good squad and play an attacking, entertaining style of rugby league, with ex-wiganer Martin Crompton coaching them, so i'd recommend to anyone who lives nearby to take advantage of the offer.

Sam Tomknis was at the Blackpool game today - if its good enough for him...

Neil Holland played really well too - stripped the ball on half-way and was only caught yards from the line by the 'haven backs. Panthers scored a crucial try on the back of it that sent them to victory
