Adrian Lam

Post by Welsh Warrior »

Just read on the teletext that Adrian Lam is to retire at the end of the season. Hope we can send him off on a Grand Final high.

Looks like Danny Orr at SH next year. Denis has rubbished the rumours linking Wigan with Kimmorly and Long.

I do hope Chairman Mo has something planned because it sure don't look that way at the moment unless they do intend to go with Danny orr at SH

:conf:

I know Danny Orr has improved as the season has gone on, but I thought Wigan brought him in as our new stand off not to play him one season in his preferred position then shift him to scrum half.

In the past few days we have lost two specialist scrum halfs, not stand offs who have moved to scrum half.

I certainly hope that the club has something up its sleeve because the decision to release Luke Robinson is even more stranger considering today's news that Lam is retiring.

Am I wrong in thinking that the half backs are supposed to dictate the tempo of the team by setting up plays, if so why do we keep messing about with this department of the team.

Please can we have a scrum half playing at scrum half !!!

It has taken Danny Orr a long time to settle into the team and play at a standard we're happy with, moving him around is going to make next year have a sense of 'deja vu' to it

BURROW NEXT TO JOIN ST.HELENS
www.redvee.net

Redvee can exclusively reveal that Saints are deep in negotiation with Leeds Whinos for the transfer of little Scrum Half Rob Burrow, in a move that could pave the way for Sean Long to join arch rivals Wigan. Burrow could sign a three year deal commencing for Super League X and would give Saints a superb chance at lifting the Super League title. Burrow was seen at Knowsley Road earlier today to discuss personal terms and looked like he was enjoying his new surroundings

Lol, very good. The Skints fans will no doubt believe that since it's not too different for what passes as "news" on there. Their columnist Blobby Goulding is typical, his article last week suggested it was time Skints beat Wigan because of the way the team performed between 1994 and 1996! But then again, Skints beating Wigan in the league is almost ancient history now so I shouldn't blame him too much...

first of all i dont want Longy why cant we have burrow we can afford him unlike the skints!! Second ML needs a brain transplant and happy birthday to lammy!!! :D

MrsLam says: By using the words 'gay boy' to describe Mr Long, you are implying that being gay is a bad thing, which could be taken offensively...
