Epic Fail
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
Re: Blackpool 132-0 Gateshead
Gateshead had 16 squad players out with 4 players out due to suspension so it was quite a depleted Gateshead team, 136-0 is still an unbelievable score though but like ancientnloyal said it is the second time Gateshead have have a century put past them, earlier in the season they lost 100-4 to Batley.
There have only been a few matches were you can say that Gateshead really competed, their results so far this season:
Blackpool 132-0 Gateshead
Gateshead 8-50 South Wales
Rochdale 50-12 Gateshead
Oldham 64-10 Gateshead
Gateshead 28-32 Doncaster
York 72-14 Gateshead
Workington 44-0 Gateshead
Gateshead 24-18 London Skolars
Gateshead 4-100 Batley
Hunslet 40-12 Gateshead
Blackpool 74-6 Gateshead
Gateshead 12-26 Workington
Widnes 50-6 Gateshead

For all your info.ancientnloyal wrote:Wow! what a score... Gateshead went down 100-0 i think to Batley not so long ago.
George West holds the points scoring record with 53 in 1905 Hull KR v Brookland Rovers
Blackpools 132-0 is the 3rd highest ever score behind Huddersfield 142- v blackpool Gladiators 4; Barrow 138 - nottingham City 0 both in 1994
Hemmingway though goes down in history with equally the most goals in a match... shared with Jim Sullivan's 22 goals against Flimby & Fothergill
Brookland Rovers, are now called Ellenborough Rangers, who play in Cumbria League division 1.

Actually it is not. Some is subjective and hence opinion but a fair % is objective and factual.eccywarrior wrote:Everything that is wrote on here is a opinion of peoples views

It is! Although if you read the League Express it is clear they haven't read the Wigan Observer report from 1925 to which I had the time to fetchmickw wrote:hemmingway kicked 22 from 22 thats some going regardless of opposition.
