Rugby League Manager 2010 is a bit like those Football Manager games which are the best thing about the round ball code to be honest. You should download this, there is a few glitches but it's free and I think it is a cracker. I am currently Sheffield Eagles because I thought it would be too easy being Wigan and I want to get offered the dream job at some point in the game,I'm always up until silly times playing it.

Playing it now mate, it's class, started off as us on easy just to see how it all works, got a lot of detail for a free game! it's like Champ man for RL. They have amatuer players in there from teams like Nottingham Outlaws, I play for Northampton Demons maybe i'll be on it next year lol.

Have you tried "Rugby League 3" on the Wii?

Thats got a player and manager/franchise mode in, both are pretty good.

no its not available on PS3. i wish it was. i think Rugby games are an untapped market and there should be one out for PS3. but last i heard there was no plans. hope they do create one though

I love the Rugby League games, the previous ones were on several formats but the new one is just on the Wii which is a massive shame, apparently it has done really well though. I think the company that make it have done a good job but they only an independent so don't market or distribute on the scale as some of the mainstream games companies. There is also a game on the PSP called Rugby League Challenge which is rather enjoyable. I think games are very important to a sports popularity.

My friend makes these, he works hard on them and wanted to make a game for rugby fans as there wasnt one. Cant go wrong for free.
