Willie Manu has been named in a 37 man England squad on residency qualification, despite having previously played for Tonga

What a joke :eusa17:

At least he didn't fill it with Bradford players! (Apart from the ones all their fans dislike intensely anyway - Sykes)

Now when will Feka become available due to residency?

Macnamara can play Manu, Fa'asavalu , Heighington and Feka in the England team - a pack full of English players :eusa17:

Mystic Meg -prediction of the year.
Macnamara to be a spectacular failure and get sacked
Simmons to be a spectacular failure at St Helens and get sacked
St Helens to appoint former England boss - Macnamara  lovin it!

That squad's a joke. We are top of the league, regularly fielding more home grown/British players than many of the other clubs and only get two players in the squad. The Omission of JT is a disgrace, especially when a player that has represented another country gets in the squad.

Maybe we should urge McNamara to pick Tommy and H?

I said when he was selected as England coach that it would be a bloody farce  What an idiot to have as a national coach??? He's about as inspiring as a soggy doughnut :sly:

Apparently Joel would have been in the squad but had to attend the disciplinary and therefore could not make the Liverpool meet up.

The same goes for Chris Heighington, it's ridiculous. Also too many players are using the residency rule to get international honours. If a player does decide to play for a country then he should stick for that country and not keep swapping, it's international rugby not club rugby.
