Apparently off to Wakefield on permanent deals next season.

Saw this on the RLFans site earlier today.

Not a huge loss to Wigan neither player was going to break into the Wigan team. Vievers is a very good full back but just lacks the pace to make him a top class full back. From what I've seen of Howarth he is very inconsistent.

Both players will probably do very well at Wakefield.

Shame to see them go as I always want to see reserves players get through to the first team - but we can't make room for everyone so good luck to them.

Just hope the club aren't being too hasty with some of the departures - sods law they'll come back to bite us in a year or two

Agreed. We can't keep them all, and they're probably about Wakey standard, to be fair - good enough for SL but not for a top club.

Heard today Vievers & Dandy both released, but Huddersfield interested in both of them

No great loss, and Huddersfield are in need of more Wiganers if they're to keep improving...

I've heard that John Walker has also been released.

Walker counts as an overage player for the U20 and he has never really broken into the first team, he has only made one appearance. It doesn't look like he will make it when Marsh and Charnley appear to be ahead of him.
