Widnes have confirmed that their Championship game with Sheffield on Thursday will be preceded by a one-minute silence in memory of Christine Cullen, the wife of coach Paul.

Christine Cullen died on Tuesday after a battle with cancer.

Former Warrington and England coach Cullen has been on compassionate leave from the club for the past month.

Sincere condolences to Paul & his family at this very sad time.

God Bless
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
