Sky continually tell us that he is the most penalised player in SL at least until Hock comes back!

He kicked out because he got an elbow in the face. If Alibert had controlled the game properly Leeds would have suffered more at his hands than we did so singling out one of our mistakes isn't really fair IMO when Leeds got away with stuff such as the spear tackle.
As to JT he has a had a great season foe me but he is another young player and with Hansen being injured for a lot of it has had even more inexperienced players along side him to maybe the pressure is getting to him.

. The point is control... im not knocking JT ;s season he s been awesome but you cannot kick a opposition player in front of your own sticks and not expect to give away points ..simple

Joel has had a good season but his discipline has been shocking this season which has really let him down.
Hitting out at players after the tackle happens all the time and most of it goes unnoticed but Joel was just silly, a bit like Radford against Leeds.

I agree but we have suffered to varing degrees lately due to retaliation (Fielden banned, JT giving away two points) yet the instigators seem to prosper.

And thats the common denominator ,both against Leeds both infront of sticks ..

Let's not forget that in the CC loss to leeds, Senior kicked Joel in the face meaning that he had to leave the field for stitches. Senior was not red-carded or suspended for his deliberate kick (which caused far more damage) - yet all the whinos fans are demanding that Joel be suspended!
It was a silly thing to do - but bear in mind that mcguire deliberately hit him in the face with an elbow - which was every bit as much a sin-binning/sending off as Joel's kick.
Joel's problem is the same as Hock's - he's too easy to provoke into doing something stupid. Dirty teams (leeds being the current league leaders in this) will deliberately target him in an attempt to put him off his game or get him sent off. He needs to learn to ignore this and hurt his opponents legally - on the scoreboard. Hopefully it is something that will come with age.
