FORMER Wigan assistant coach Phil Vievers is to be the new No 2 to Salford boss Shaun McRae.
Phil told me this two weeks ago but kept it quiet until it was officially announced.
Well done Phil

Phil Vievers
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Nice one. Made up for the lad! Does that mean there's a vacancy at Heinz? I am learning Serbo-Croat!

Well done Phil! Guess Josh will be on his way there, then?

Last time I spoke to Phil, he said Josh hadn't had any offers, which is a shame really.

Sorry to say it, but he looked very average even in NHL1.
