I think he should be also, even though they have the
"5 leaders", Lockers is still team & club captain as far as I'm concerned :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Andy Coley said on Radio Manchester on Sunday that it would be Lockers.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

It would be a gross injustice if it wasn't Lockers.

Coley has stood up when it has counted too.
Lockers or Coley, I am happy with either.

The good thing about the leadership team is that none of them want to take any credit for it they just go speak to the ref when needed. They then speak to each other behind the posts or listen to Lockers or whoever's talking.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."

Yeah Ste, he has had to put up with all the shouting & abuse for the last several seasons that he has been the only captain. So I believe he is the only one who should be given the honour of leading the team out & the first to get his hands on the trophy.

Come on Wigan Warriors, the best is yet to come :)
