Us Circling Vultures

Noticing that Widnes are having a fire sale of their players should we be in for a spare prop?I like the look of the boy Mills but I'm not sure if he's signed up for next season, I see they've let Andy Hobson go and seem to recall he's a bit of a hard nut so is he worth a punt as our fourth front rower? I'm sure he wouldn't cost a lot, he might be a sort of Aldi version Kelvin Skerrett. Should we be browsing the Cas Boot Sale instead?

Sorry I'm bored at work and being in London, have nobody else to help me in one of my favourite pastimes of idly gossiping about possible transfer targets. Who would anyone else like to see at the JJB considering our financial state?

I would like to see us sign Ryan Hudson but it is rumoured that he has already signed for saints or maybe even Wayne Godwin because they have both played really well for Cas this season given their situation.

I like Ryan Hudson, but we don't need him.

Mario and everyone else,No squad room for anyone other than a no 1 scrumhalf and a 4th prop. :exc:

There has been some talk about Andy Lynch from Cas.

But then again there's been some talk about just about every player in RL coming here! If we listened to all the rumours we'd have 17 scrum halves in the squad.

GeoffN, mainly from me but I heard it first at Wakefield in May when I was told it was a done deal if Cas went down. At least Cas's moans about the salary cap will be eased now since they can only spend £300k next season not £1.8million

i doubt very much that we will pick up any scraps from widnes or cas..

getting a 4th super league experienced prop at a low convienent cost, seem to much like common sense to me!
