Last night and after this afternoon 18-18 draw with Cumbria surely every English Wigan player should be in with a chance of selection. Perhaps Deacs is too old who knows. Anybody is better than Sykes.

Agreed, I think we more than compete in the forwards against the aussies. IMO it's the backs that have let us down. I would go with 1,Widdop 2,Goulding 3,Gleeson 4,Bridge 5,Briscoe 6,Mcguire 7, Sam. I would prefer sam to be at FB but with eastmond not available he'll have to play at HB.

personally i would take

Sam
Joel
Lockers
Daz
Liam
Andy
Stu
Gleeson

i think he will only take Sam, Joel, Lockers and maybe Stu. if he did it on form he would take those 8 but this is Steve Mcnamara, the man who made Lynch captain of an international side that couldn't beat Cumbria

Bridge made himself unavailable due to his mrs being nearly ready to drop. My team would be....

1. Sam
2. Goulding
3. Gleeson
4. Atkins
5. Hall
6. Widdop
7. Eastmond
8. Morley
9. Sinfield
10 Graham
11. Burgess
12. Ellis
13. Lockers

14. Roby
15. Westwood
16. J. Tomkins
17. Fielden

I'd use Sam at full back in defence but in attack i'd probably put him in the pivot role with Widdop linking in round the back, hopefully Eastmond is fit, or maybe Kevin Brown at 7.

If Coley would go i would take him, i think he is absolutely class.....nice bloke too.

Liam Farrell will be starting 13 next year I think for both club and country.

I'd say he should be bringing:

Sam Tomkins (FB or Five-Eighth)
Darrell Goulding (Wing)
Martin Gleeson (Centre)
Stuart Fielden (Prop)
Joel Tomkins (Second Row)
Sean O' Loughlin (Lock Forward)

I think young Farrell will miss out. Yes he's been great this season but can't see him not adding Gareth Ellis to the squad or Ben Westwood in the second row, or not bringing Kevin Sinfield for lock incase Sean gets taken out!

I'm going to be purely selfish (may not be popular) but couldn't care less about the England team, don't want any of our players picking up injuries playing in the 4 nations. We've already lost Pat for the majority, if not all the close season with his injury. No more please!!

Ben Westwood is a very good Super League player, but i have huge doubts about him being able to raise his game to test level.
He just dosen't have the size, strength or skill to succeed.
