The Forbidden Game: The Untold Story of French Rugby League

Post by jobo »

Has anyone got a copy or read this book?. It deals with the way RL was treated in Vichy France and was the book of the week in the Independent in 1999.

I'd like to buy a copy but sadly, it's now out of print.

cheers

Email Richard Bailey. The RLCF stock most bookes from many years ago to the present day. They should have a copy.

Alternatively Harry Edgar the creator of Open Rugby and his wife have a website and produce the RLJournal. Mike Rylance the author of the book you are after writes articles for Harry. They are lifetime friends. Harry might be able to get you a copy.

Ta AL. Had a look on Amazon and the cheapest used is £79.20 plus delivery. Wonder if it's made of gold??? Or contains the secret to winning the lottery.

Thanks CP. I'll try that as the cost on Amazon is a tad off putting.

Nice one CP. Harry found a pristine copy at half the price on Amazon, so thanks very much.
