Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Marshall had a good 4 nations final, the kick for Nightingales try was class.
In comparisson Lockyear looked slow and defensively weak, now at the end of his international career I suspect.
Will be interesting to see who Australia will select at stand off beyond Lockyear.

Billy Slater also had a very poor game by his levels, his normal confidence wasnt there in this game.

Yes PW. Lockyer is picked irrespective from what I can see. I said tp Eclipse before the game that possibly the right move was to drop Petro and Lockyer but that no coach would do so.

Billy Slater is by far the most consistant and best player in the world.

Hate interrupting a pantomine but last season he wasn't but there may be mitigating factors. IMO Benji is currently No 1

I like Billy because as well as being brilliant he is also susceptible to making the occasional horrendous mistake. Quite refreshing in modern RL.

I would disagree with that Pedro. On his day Billy is the best FB in the game. I do think horses for courses though that Hayne would have hurt NZ more and Boyd offers more outside back versatility than Gidley. The fact that Billy has forced teams to adopt a whole new and incredibly negative kicking policy is testimony to his ability.
