Lima or Iafeta?

Post by Panchitta Marra »

Has Jeff Lima played to his potential, can he improve and is his replacement of Feka been a positive move based on his games and attitude this season so far.

I remember Iafeta bowling Hull players over like skittles not so long ago.
Lima wasnt so brilliant tonight or any game so far this season. Poor missed tackles again, and no massive go forward.
Certainly not a "no brainer" for me.

No brainer. Feka is not fit for purpose. A dinosaur. Far too big and cumbersome requiring far too long a run up to get any speed up.

Far too early to make cast iron judgements on Lima but his efforts have been better than Feka's ever were or will be.

Lima is on longer and gets through far more carries. His defence looked dodgy at times tonight though and he was getting the ball in attack without much of a run up but from what I've seen overall he'll be a good buy. Feka had the odd decent game where he took some getting down but they became few and far between.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."

On current form we must be watching a different Lima here.
Seen nothing to persuade me why he is here and Feka has gone.

Pointless thread. Feka is at Salford.

Not seen much of Lima yet although come to think of it he has probably been on the field of play for the equivalent of about 10 or twelve matches in Feka terms. No contest for me - at least he looks interested and willing to get stuck in. He needs to be given a chance to settle in but think he will do just fine
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

On his cameo spot for Salford v Leeds Feka looked embarassing, totally unfit and overweight, woeful agility with a forward dancing past him.

Lima far too early but I believe his stats in defence / attack in one game were better than Feka ever achievedin his entire Wigan career.
