So who gets dropped?

Post by Kittwazzer »

IMO, last night saw our best performance in SL so far this season.
Next week, Sam will be available, Deacs should be fit and IIRC, Finch could be making his debut. Who deserves to lose his place after that showing?

was told that Deacs had been advised not to play for 4 weeks. Might be wrong though :conf:

Well that's one less headache for Madge. Lucky that Pat is still a few weeks away because no way would I drop Josh after tonight!

all i would change is Tomkins for Amos and maybe look to give McIllorum a rest during the match and put Tommy at hooker so Finch can get some game time

Had a completely error-free game! Excellent debut for the lad!

If it goes off last outing performance then no one should be dropped, I feel this is only a good thing for the team, one thing though, get roberts practice on high balls he was rubbish under them

I'm with you. Amos was our worst performer last night. Finch is a must when he is fit.

Give me an instance when Mellor did anything wrong throughout the game. I have just sat and watched the game again and whilst Mellor did nothing spectacular he was solid and dependable. If anyone had a bad half it was Amos. I said throughout the game that he had forgotten his guide dog. But even he got better in the second half. Whilst he dithered under the high bombs he brought the ball away from the line on a couple of occasions even came centre field for once. I was critical of him in the first half and am still not convinced when he's at FB rather see him on the wing. But to cap it all young Mellor had a decent solid game. :D :D
