Fairs, fair Goulding !!!

Plenty people criticised him (wrongly IMO) v St George and so forth. He had a great game v Leeds, scored a superb try and nobody says a word :eusa16:

Well said. People are quick to criticise and very slow to praise.

hes a better version of gardner, great poacher specialist at nothing good at everything! TBH I like his under rated factor, teams seem not to worry about him and BooM try time goulding scores another! keep em comin I say.

I've always been a fan of Daz. He just needs a good centre partner. If he had played every game last season he would have finished top try scorer IMO. Certainly wouldn't swap him for either of those clowns Meli or Gardner!

I couldn't find his stats on the Engage site but the interesting thing for me are the comments about Pryce on rlfans. He is back in favour with many because he is scoring tries.

Well Goulding scores tries as well but I'd hazard a guess his other stats are much better than Pryces. Charnley's are. All the donkey work type stuff wingers are expected to do - as well as score tries.

Good pro who knows where the line is. Like all good try scorers he needs a good centre to create opportunities. He'll have to make do and mend for 2011 but hopefully we will find a top class replacement for Gleeson.

You've nailed it in the second sentence there DaveO, some fans don't seem to see beyond the try being scored, granted we are grateful for them and I really hate dissing anyone who wears cherry & white but KP doesn't do anything in the build up to the try. If he got stuck in and actually used his obvious talents instead of just popping up at the death to plonk the ball down a lot of us would have a lot more faith in the guy.

As for Goulding he doesn't do much wrong, he's eager, quick and always alert and has earned his place on the team as far as I am concerned and am more than happy with him
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I think that the reason some people have not made any comment regarding the try is simply this. Not all criticised D.Goulding and those that did simply do not wish to eat humble pie by admitting they may just have got it wrong. I am a big admirer of Goulding and at the time of farming him out to Salford thought it was the wrong thing to do. I of course was wrong! It allowed him more game time and gave him the confidence needed. However you are spot on in pointing this out. :D

I freely admit that under Noble I criticised Goulding, but last season and this he has been brilliant.
I ate my humble pie last season, and have had nothing but praise for the lad ever since.
Great player.

I am a fan of goulding, I think he carries out a lot of work in a game, alot goes unnoticed, especially when he comes off the line to take the ball in giving others a rest. Also seems to give his all every game (seems to to me anyway)
