8000?? Did some people forget that Wigan were playing today?

The attendance figure today was in the 8000s. Barrow were out in force, but a huge portion of West & East were empty, and a load of empties in South too.
Disapointing turn out by "The Best Supported Club"'s fans.
Bet it'll be more than 15k on Friday for Quins!
Incidentally, love the Barrow fans, they seemed to come out with the intention of doing nothing but having a good time, and even with nilled defeat obvious, they still seemed to have a good time, and I didnt see a single sad Barrow fan on the way home, so well done to the Barrow Boys & Girls!

8026 to be exact Andy!
Poor turnout to say the the home fans had free admission with their S.T & didn't have to go to the trouble of collecting one from the ticket office.
Where are the 10,000 S.T holders?
I know the two next to me didn't go.

Did not attend personally. Like many many fans across RL these matches are IMO a non event. I actually prefer them to be Away as then there is a reason for attending.

You've lost me with that one. How is there more of a reason to attend an away game?

People around me started to leave with 10 minutes remaining. The Barrow fans in the North Stand stayed to the end, to a man. I'll never understand some supporters!

Decided to go purely on the basis it was included in my season ticket. If I had to have paid, I would not have gone either

An away fixture provides you with a place to visit, sometimes a different club/stadia at the least one you rarely visit, the stadia are normally smaller and therefore less barren.
RL and football being televised too does not help. I was more interested in Man U beating Chelsea today.

Has anyone got an emoticon 'sticks fingers down throat and vomits violently in green'?
