Whatever the result for once the off season internationals have been kind to the Wigan lads.

BC seems to have got over his hamstring problems and got his confidence back.
Faz has cemented his place as the best player in the world.
S O'L will have gained great experience and confidence for next year.
Terry Newton should see it as a bit of a kick in the pants with the younger lads fighting for his jersey.
and Kris's body has at last been given time to recover!

Think its gonna be one hell of a battle. The Aussies have been hurt. Hurt badly. They are gonna bust a gut to beat us on our own turf but I think we can hold em out. Gonna be tough though. don't miss it.

Personally, I think the Aussies will batter us!

I have just had a bet with my mate, I have give him GB and a 7-point start for £50.

I didn’t like the way we crumbled at the end of the NZ game. If that game would have gone on a couple of minutes more we would have lost.

I reckon that the Aussies will be more fired up than normal – ( wounded pride is a dangerous thing )

You might as well give your mate £50 now!

I'd be surprided if they did. I am not saying we will win as I am too cautious for that given the history but we are not going to get steam-rollered out of it.

Lets hope we can do it.

Faz and the lads are going to do it for us this time! They got in the Aussie faces a fortnight ago and weren't they rattled by it? If GB can keep their heads to perform like that again they'll make history ...

Whatever the result I personally can't wait for this match and the lads will not disgrace themselves - they've played out of their skins every last one of them.

I think the opening 15 to 20 minutes will be crucial to the games result.

If the Aussies post a couple of quick tries and we are unable to reply in this period we may struggle to contain them. Also the kicking game has to be spot on, have to admit it could have been much better during the tournament.

But enough of the glass half empty scenario, let's hope that Carney is raring to go on Saturday and that Faz puts in a performance to show why he was the worthy winner of the Golden Boot.

Also, I think that O'Loughlin if selected could be our ace in the pack coming off the bench. His tackling could help win the game for us.

Why is paul johnson picked, i mean its nothing personal but there are a lot of centres etc in his squad, he could do with a spare hooker like higham instead of puttin pj on the bench
