James Roby
Some fans on RedVee constantly accuse Wigan of dirty tactics. Today, Roby and Moore put in a spear tackle. Roby was put on report and could face a ban for Saturday whilst Moore is likely to be out on loan to HMP Strangeways.
Oh the irony!

Re: James Roby
Don't hold your breath, they will come up with mitigating circumstances and be given clearance to do whatever they want on a rugby pitch for the next 5 years and get hand written apologies on hammered velum from the disciplinary committee at Red Hall
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Re: James Roby
Kittwazzer I did not realise that HMP Strangeways had a rugby team Of course Stains will tell the disciplinary panel that the offending player dove into the turf with deliberate intent as one of his mates is a Wigan player. And that he was hoping to implicate these two saintly gentlemen of grievous bodily harm therefore helping his mate at Wigan to an unfair advantage in the semifinal.Oh and by the way gentlemen here is a nice brown envelope you asked for. :sly:Kittwazzer wrote:Some fans on RedVee constantly accuse Wigan of dirty tactics. Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

According to Twitter he has been given a £500 fine and no ban.
And in other news, 3 Culcheth residents have been arrested and charged with parking their cars on the street in an irresponsible manner thereby causing an innocent driver to have an accident!

Bt wasn't saint roby so badly injured that he won't be able to play on Saturday? along with James Graham and several other key players.
If you listen to Royce Simons Saints have played every game with every player on a life suport system. You would think they were the only club whose players got injured.

Madge's game plan assumes Roby will be playing. He will be dealt with. His absence may have caused us more of a problem!

Royce Simmons riled by RFL's disciplinary process
SAINTS coach Royce Simmons took the unusual step of taking along his laptop to this week’s press conference to illustrate what he perceives as inconsistencies in the RFL’s disciplinary process.
He compared footage of the tackle that landed James Roby with a charge for making a dangerous throw at the weekend with a similar move by Blake Green, the Hull KR half back, that was cited but went unpunished.
Simmons said: “You have one bloke (Roby) who has played here nine years and another bloke who has played here one year.
“He has made 900 tackles this year (and hasn’t been called to the disciplinary once) and is a bloke you market your game around, a bloke who is so disappointed because he prides himself in not going there.
“How can one go to the judiciary and the other not? It’s like a policeman letting someone off with a caution and taking the other man to court.”
The RFL confirmed Roby’s "guilty plea and his exemplary disciplinary record" were taken into account when he appeared before the disciplinary committee.
The panel issued a warning of his future conduct and a £500 fine.
