Rhinos wait on injured pair

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Brian McDermott has named the injured pair of Kallum Watkins and Carl Ablett in his 19 man squad for this Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup Final against Wigan, kick off 2:30pm.

The pair will be given until the last possible moment to prove their fitness with Watkins still rated at 50/50 to be cleared fit to make his first Challenge Cup final appearance.

Meanwhile, the Rhinos have revealed that Headingley Carnegie Stadium will host a homecoming on Sunday evening in the event of a win in the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley this Saturday.

The Rhinos head off to their London base on Thursday evening but plans have not been revealed for their return should Kevin Sinfield and the team defeat Champions Wigan and lift the Carnegie Challenge Cup for the first time since 1999.

The event will be free for the public with gates open from 4.30pm along with the stadium's bars, shop and ticket office. The entertainment for the evening will be hosted by Radio Aire's Larry & Paul with a live band entertaining the crowd along with Ronnie the Rhino and the dance team.

The team will be due on the pitch after 5.30pm with the whole event ending by 7pm.
