I know 100% that we're back to cherry and white hoops! and I'm chuffed becasue for the first time in a few years i've not bought our home top this year.

Didn't IL say something about a three year turnaround at a fan's forum. A traditional kit followed by a modern kit followed by a bonkers kit or something like that? If true, the 2012 strip should be traditional. My personal favourite was 2008 but that's just me.

I would like to see a return to both kits being the same for one year one cherry and white the other blue and white.

At the fans forum Mr L said there's a 3 year contract on home shirts. First 2 years are more traditional cherry & white hoop designs whilst the 3rd year will see a change from the norm (like this years runny wash shirt).

Don't think we'll see blue & white as our away colours now as Mr L says he was warned by the marketing dept that a shirt with those colours wouldn't sell but he went ahead anyway but the dept were proved correct as away shirts didn't sell too well. A return to black next season?

Just hope we get the correct shade of red on the home shirt, it's supposed to be cherry not post box!

Only one colour for this traditionalist and that is Cherry&White end of!Don't mind refreshing my kit every now and again but I do not do all these fancy colours.I grew up following two things and those two are Wigan rlfc and Cherry &white hoops.Our colours are recognised world wide and quite rightly so!!

Wigan play in cherry and white hooped shirts. We have an honourable tradition.Look at old footage of past matches and it stands out.
We can ring the changes every now and then,and change kit in order to support the team,and there's nowt wrong with that. But, when you see Cherry and White horizontal stripes, to me, it just says - Wigan.
Is it just me?

I don't think you need to get your coat Stan but I think we'd all like a more traditional kit for next season. The 'pink' kit has grown on me hugely but it isn't what I recognise as a true Wigan shirt. We had this debate when it was released. As you rightly say, footage of Wigan always has them standing out in cherry and white hoops and that is how it should always be.
