For those who don't know, The Brigantes are currently raising money for local charity 'Wigan & Leigh Hospice' and Cancer charity 'MacMillan' by asking Wigan fans to donate £1 in order to sign a book thanking coach Mike Maguire for his efforts at the club (and wish him luck for the future)

When Maguire took over, nobody could have dreamt of what we would achieve in just two short years, and we are looking for fans to leave their messages of thanks in a special book which will be presented to Mike in the South Stand bar after the second home playoff match.

ALL proceeds will be donated to the above charities.

The book will be available to be signed in the South Stand bar before and after the Saints game on Sunday, and in Warriors World from Monday until either Thursday if we lose or next Tuesday if we win.

I saw the book last night, and it's already brilliant, with some great comments.

I went down and signed it in the week in Warriors World. Had heard some people talk about it and wondered what it was. According to the woman in the shop it will be in tomorrow now so plenty chance to sign it and raise some money for charity :eusa2:
