Met a guy who played for Wigan in the seventies, nice bloke but I can't remember his name. The second name was Italian.
He said he played in the seventies. Scliretti/ vincetti or summat ?
Does anyone remember him ?
Met an old player the other day, was he a good one. Italian sounding name ?

Yep that's him, Martin. He is a really nice guy but I'm too young to remember him playing.

In a word, no!Hartnell wrote:Yep that's him, Martin. He is a really nice guy but I'm too young to remember him playing.

He was never more than an A team player. Those 11 games someone mentioned were down the the first team being on strike!
As for the Italian name, I believe he hailed from an ice-cream family!
