Not local to Wigan but happen to be in Wigan on Saturday. So hoping to watch the final there. Anyone know good pub to watch it in, good beer and bit of food and obviously fellow warriors fans.... Berkeley is all I know, so far.....TIA

KevP - probably the "Off Topic" Post that has resulted in not getting back any responses."General" board would have generated loads more replies.

I dont know any individual place to recommend but wouldnt think you could go wrong at any of the clubs on King St with a big screen.

Also, St Judes Rugby Club is usually a good atmosphere & they have several screens - same could also be said of St Pats & Ince Rose Bridge Rugby clubs as well.

Just about any other pub around town or near the DW should be ok. Hope that helps a bit.

Nezza, thanks for that. Didn't want to wander round finding the 'right atmosphere', especially with couple of ladies in tow. Need to be near railway station so Berkeley would have done. But one's you've suggested are just round the corner (bingle maps!) and no doubt rugby, not football, crowd - much better...... thanks.

Good luck KevP (both you & England!)

Just thought - "Number 15's" in Swinley (Dicconson St.) would be a comfortable spot for the ladies & usually a good rugby gathering in there.

About 10-15 mins walk to stations, or couple mins. in a taxi.
