Not long now...
Not long now...
Lying in my bedroom with the window open (not at uni due to tonsillitis) but is it just me or does anyone else feel the rugbyness in the weather?! It just feels like the beginning of the season which is exactly what it is, I'm so excited!

Do you not have windows at Uni, MrsLam?MrsLam posted:

Hope you recover soon, you'd be no good shouting on the terraces (although sometimes I come across people who could do with a bout of permanent tonsilitis to shut them up!). I'm just hoping I can get a train back from Reading early enough next Friday to get to the game, but it's true that, with season tickets now having arrived, the season is really here again. A shame that the only rugby the media seem interested is the 6 Nations rubbish.

Re: Not long now...
Fraggle, Edgehill is very near to St Helens, all the windows at Uni have bars on them to stop people escaping from the dreaded scouse area.
I'll be reet for next week don't you worry, MrsLam and her little Wigan divas will all be there singing their pigtails off!

My Head of Department used to work at EdgeHill, those bars didn't stop him escaping and being inflicted on usMrsLam posted:

Ive got tonsillitis too!
Re: Not long now...
Oo Linzi it's close enough for me! Tonsillitis is horrible, I think I've had a bit of a cold too so I've been feeling really down, I'm enjoying my first day of feeling a bit better and a lot happier, haven't done anything all week but I thought I deserved a treat so I just went down to Sainsburys in my Wigan top to buy some face masks for a nice girly night! Can't beat it
