Since some have talked about learning from 'other codes' & the overseas training ?But Melbourne will confront stronger competition for support from a Melbourne Rebels outfit bursting with Wallabies, including two of the best young players in the game: James O'Connor and Kurtley Beale. Storm is not, as ever, resting on its laurels to improve on last season.
Few clubs embrace the capacity to learn off other codes than Storm, be it in sports science, player development, player welfare, recruiting or training techniques.
Bellamy is a regular traveller overseas and has already completed a post-season study trip through the US and England visiting colleges and NFL clubs in America, as well as English Premier League soccer clubs and leading rugby clubs in Britain.
Storm also has on order a portable altitude-training room, having used one on loan last season with enough positive results to warrant full-time use.
