Reading back through the tweets, I did see the word accident mentioned but I've also heard it was a heart attack. Either way its a bloody tragedy to lose your 19 year old son!

Sad sad loss, not that a game of RL matters over a tragedy like this but I wonder how this will effect the Cas side this weekend against us.

Having lost my eldest daughter when she was only 18 years old I can imagine the trauma Robbies' family are going through.
There is nothing worse than having to bury one of your children.
My very sincere condolences.

Wigan Warriors would like to send its deepest sympathies and condolences to former Head Coach Ian Millward and his family following the news of the sad passing of his son Robbie.

Robbie aged 19, was taken ill at his home in Leigh on Sunday morning and was then rushed to Bolton Hospital where he died later in the evening.

Our thoughts are with Ian at this very difficult time.

The saddest news of the week is that Ian's 19 year old son has died suddenly in Bolton.
What an awful thing to happen. Poor Ian, life can be so terribly unfair.
I am sure the whole Rugby League family would wish to express their sympathy for this tragic loss.
