Disciplinary update:
Huddersfield Giants hooker Tommy Lee is charged for high tackle on Warrington Wolves stand off Lee Briers
TWO Stobart Super League players will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee tomorrow after being charged with separate offences during their sides’ Round Three games over the weekend.
Huddersfield Giants player Tommy Lee has been charged with committing a Grade C high-tackle offence on Lee Briers of Warrington Wolves in the 40th minute of Saturday’s match at the Galpharm Stadium.
Hull FC forward Sam Moa will also appear before the Committee after he was charged with making a Grade B, dangerous shoulder charge, on London Broncos’ player Julien Rinaldi in the 61st minute of their 22-14 home victory at the KC Stadium on Sunday.
Both players were referred to the Disciplinary Committee after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel earlier today.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Disciplinary update:
There wasn't any difference in this tackle & the one that Adrian Morley did to Harrison Hansen

Re: Disciplinary update:
Both Morley's and Moa's hits had the very same intent to hurt the player.
There was no intent on making a tackle by using the arms in either tackle, just solely as an impact with the shoulder to the head area.
H got up quicker so thats maybe why it wasnt carded or put on report, but nevertheless Morley meant it with as much intent as Sam Moa's.
I dont know the ruling on these types of tackle so cant comment whether the player should be sent off, yellow carded or if they are deemed as legal.
More consistancy in refereeing is surely required..
